Determined to alleviate this stress for fellow parents, Nappies Direct became the first online store in New Zealand dedicated to selling nappies, offering the convenience of doorstep delivery. From its humble beginnings, Nappies Direct quickly gained recognition as a pioneer in online retail, setting new standards with its commitment to customer security. As the first-ever website in New Zealand to implement HTTPS security for online transactions, Nappies Direct earned the trust and loyalty of parents across the country. Over the years, Nappies Direct received numerous accolades, solidifying its position as the leading provider of premium baby care products. However, despite our dedication, the unforeseen challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic proved to be insurmountable. Rising prices and logistical hurdles posed significant obstacles, making it increasingly difficult to uphold our promise of timely delivery and price convenience. With heavy hearts, we made the difficult decision to cease trading after two decades of serving the parenting community. But every end marks a new beginning. In 2023, Nappies Direct transformed its platform into a vibrant parenting forum, dedicated to fostering a supportive community where parents can come together to share experiences, seek advice, and offer support. Here, we prioritise the exchange of knowledge and the power of collective wisdom, devoid of brand promotion.
